The Club has an annual programme of walks, mostly in the Cairngorms and the Angus Glens and welcomes new members. A typical walk would be 9 to 12 miles with an ascent of 2000 ft, taking 6 to 7 hours, but easier walks can be arranged. A bus is hired for six of the trips, enabling us to do some interesting through walks. For example, in 2006 we walked from Loch Muick, over Lochnagar to the Invercauld bridge.

If you have never walked in the hills but would like to try the experience, walking with a group is the best way to learn how to tackle the mountains and build up your confidence.
